Vaginal or topical miconazole has low systemic absorption, but systemic exposure can occur and miconazole is a potent CYP3A4 inhibitor. Pimozide has a narrow therapeutic index and QT prolongation risk. Interaction is mainly relevant for oral or buccal miconazole.
