Résumé

Procarbazine has MAO-inhibiting activity, and dexmethylphenidate releases and blocks reuptake of catecholamines. The combination can provoke a hypertensive crisis with severe headache, arrhythmia, and risk of intracranial haemorrhage.

Dexmethylphenidate and Procarbazine are not normally used together. Taking them at the same time is expected to cause harm or make one of them unsafe, so a different medicine is usually chosen for one of the two.
