Isavuconazonium sulfate is a prodrug of isavuconazole, an azole antifungal.
成人常用劑量（仿單摘要）
Invasive aspergillosis/mucormycosis, IV: loading dose 372 mg (one reconstituted vial) every 8 hours for 6 doses (48 hours); then 372 mg once daily, starting 12 to 24 hours after last loading dose

- Unsafe May cause fetal harm based on animal studies; no human data. Use effective contraception during treatment and for 28 days after final dose.

- Unsafe No human milk data; present in rat milk. Breastfeeding should be discontinued during treatment.

- Known hypersensitivity to isavuconazole.
- Coadministration with strong CYP3A4 inhibitors such as ketoconazole or high-dose ritonavir (400 mg every 12 hours).
- Coadministration with strong CYP3A4 inducers such as rifampin, carbamazepine, St. John's wort, or long acting barbiturates.

- Hepatic adverse reactions, including hepatitis, cholestasis, hepatic failure; check liver tests at start and during therapy.
- Infusion-related reactions with IV use; discontinue infusion if they occur.
- Anaphylaxis (some fatal) reported; discontinue if anaphylactic or severe skin reactions occur.
