摘要
Carbamazepine markedly reduces mavacamten exposure, which may cause loss of efficacy in obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Stopping the inducer later could also cause mavacamten levels to rise unexpectedly.

Carbamazepine and Mavacamten are not normally used together. Taking them at the same time is expected to cause harm or make one of them unsafe, so a different medicine is usually chosen for one of the two.

Carbamazepine induces CYP2C19 and CYP3A4, the main enzymes clearing mavacamten.
處置方式
Avoid the combination as labeled. If an inducer is stopped or started, reassess LVEF and gradients and adjust mavacamten dose by echocardiography.
